Accident: Another Hospital Ambulance Carrying A Very Sick Person Caught Stuck In Muddy Road

An ambulance belonging to the Ministry of Health, Reg. No. UG 6738M, now sits helplessly trapped in a drainage channel along the bustling Mukwano Road.

According to Daily Monitor, the vehicle, once a beacon of emergency aid, has become the subject of shocked whispers and viral social media posts after it was swept away by a ferocious wave of floodwater following Sunday night's torrential downpour.

Eyewitnesses report that the ambulance, valiantly attempting to navigate through what was once a road but now resembled a raging river, was no match for the fury of nature.

With floodwaters charging down with the force of a thousand untamed waterfalls, the lone driver of the vehicle found himself at the mercy of the elements.

The vehicle was carried, almost majestically, into the unforgiving embrace of the drainage channel.

"It was like something out of a movie," said an onlooker, still wide-eyed with disbelief. "The water just came out of nowhere, and the ambulance was gone in an instant!"

What makes this incident particularly mortifying is the symbolic weight of the trapped vehicle, an ambulance meant to save lives, now itself in desperate need of rescue.

As images of the stranded emergency vehicle circulate online, the public has been quick to express their collective embarrassment. The Ministry of Health, as yet, has not issued an official statement.

Despite the shame and drama surrounding the spectacle, efforts to recover the ambulance are already underway, with authorities promising swift action to remedy what is undoubtedly one of the most bizarre incidents to hit Kampala’s streets in recent memory.
