MUSEVENI: I have Never Experienced Poverty, Even Before I became President

President Yoweri Museveni has made a candid revelation during his recent Parish Development Model (PDM) tour in Lira City.

While addressing farmers and local leaders, President Museveni emphasized his commitment to providing proper guidance to Ugandans, asserting that a leader must lead by example.

"I don’t want to be a leader who fails to guide my people. In my house, I am not poor, and I have never experienced poverty, even before I became president," Museveni stated.

President Yoweri Museveni emphasized that the model was designed to eliminate the cycle of dependency and create sustainable development across Uganda.

By sharing his personal story, President Yoweri Museveni aimed to inspire Ugandans to embrace self-reliance and actively engage with PDM resources.

“This program is here to uplift everyone,” he concluded.
