Missing Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital Staff Found Dead

News reaching our desk indicates that Juliet Kyarisiima, a missing staff member of Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, has been found dead. Juliet’s body was discovered and retrieved from River Rwizi on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Juliet Kyarisiimahas been an assistant nursing officer in charge of the maternal and child health unit at Mbarara City, was last seen on September 2, 2024, before she went missing.

Kyarisiima disappeared from her home in Katete Central, Mbarara City, at around 7:00 p.m. on that date. This led the Katete Police Post to launch an investigation under case reference: 08/03/09/2024.

Hospital spokesperson Halson Kagure clarified that Juliet’s disappearance did not occur within the hospital premises, which has made it challenging for the administration to comment further.
