Breeze Airways adding new flights between South Bend and Washington, D.C.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - You’ll soon be able to fly directly to our nation’s capital from the South Bend International Airport.
Breeze Airways announced Tuesday that it will add a new flight between South Bend and Washington Dulles International Airport starting Nov. 8. The airline said one-way tickets will start at $49 on Mondays and Fridays.
“Washington D.C. has been one of our targeted destinations as there is considerable demand from our region,” said South Bend International Airport CEO and Executive Director Mike Daigle in a news release. “We are thrilled that Breeze, the newest airline to serve SBN, is adding a third destination from our region.”
The new service comes a month after Breeze announced new flights from South Bend to Orlando and Fort Myers. Breeze plans to start flying to and from Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays on Nov. 7, while flights between South Bend and Fort Myers will follow in February of 2025 on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
When planned flights begin in November, Breeze Airways will become South Bend’s fifth carrier.
