A Stay order application that was filed by the government to have the ruling that was given by the High Court in favor of President William ruto's housing levy, has been dismissed by the court of Appeal ahead of another ruling that is expected by this Supreme Court.

In the latest ruling, the three bench judges who included Justice motivo, Gachoka, and Achode ruled that the housing Levy was unconstitutional and, therefore, should not be implemented by President William ruto and his administration.

This coming as a huge blow to the head of state President William ruto who recently met with the president of the judiciary the chief justice Martha Koome to try and iron out the issues which had already escalated to war of words.

It is yet to be seen whether the government appealed the decision by the Supreme Court even as President William ruto recently revealed that he will obey Court orders after meeting with the chief justice.
