Shock as Unidentified Male and Female Body Found in Ndeeba and Kireka

Police in Kampala are investigating the discovery of an unidentified male body in the Ndeeba suburb of the city, which they are treating as a suspected murder case. According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesperson of the Kampala Metropolitan Police, the body was found on the morning of Tuesday, October 8, at around 9 a.m. in Tomusange Zone, Ndeeba parish, located in Rubaga Division.
The body was reported to the police by concerned citizens who discovered it wrapped in a bed sheet near the Lubiri wall fence. Responding promptly, the police transported the body to City Mortuary Mulago for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Although the identity of the deceased remains unknown, Owoyesigyire confirmed that the body is that of an adult male. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are treating the incident as a suspected murder.

This discovery comes just days after another body, that of a female, was found in a bush near a road in Kireka, Wakiso district. The victim, later identified as Agnes Nantongo, had been working as the manager of the African Oil Petrol Station. Initial reports suggested that Nantongo may have been jogging when she was killed, but unconfirmed information from security sources indicates that she may have been kidnapped and murdered before her body was dumped at the scene.
Nantongo was laid to rest last week in Kasengejje, Wakiso district. The police are continuing to investigate both cases as they work to uncover the details surrounding these suspicious deaths.
