Pallaso Raids Alien Skin’s Residence; Range Rover Burnt Down; 2 Hospitalised

Kampala, January 2, 2025 — Police in Katwe are investigating a dramatic case of aggravated robbery and malicious damage after musician Mayanja Pius, alias Pallaso, and his group allegedly raided the residence of fellow artist Patrick Mulwana, alias Alien Skin, in Kisungu Zone, Makindye Division, Kampala District.

“Preliminary investigations suggest that the reporter (Alien) and the suspect had a disagreement while performing at a venue in Buloba, Wakiso District,” said Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SSP Patrick Onyango.

“The dispute escalated, leading to the attack on Alien Skin’s residence,” he added.

According to police reports, the incident unfolded in two separate attacks on January 2, 2025, and left a trail of destruction, including a burnt Range Rover and significant damage to multiple vehicles and homes.

Onyango said the first attack occurred at 3:00am.

Pallaso and his group, “reportedly armed with pangas, pit axes, hammers, and stones, stormed Alien Skin’s residence in Kisungu Zone,” said Onyango, adding that Officers from Makindye Police Station responded swiftly and succeeded in repelling the attackers.

The suspects returned at around 9:00 am on Thursday, mounting a far more destructive assault. Amid the chaos, a Range Rover belonging to Alien Skin was set ablaze.

Four other motor vehicles suffered shattered windshields and broken lights.

Three houses on the property had windows smashed, leaving shards of glass strewn about.

Six million Ugandan shillings in cash was reportedly stolen.

Police say three individuals—Alien Skin, Nyanzi Joseph, and Mugabi Julius—were directly affected by the raid.

Two victims are currently receiving treatment at Mengo Hospital for injuries sustained during the attacks.

Origins of the Feud

Authorities believe the raid stemmed from a heated dispute between the two musicians during New Year’s performances—a feud that has dominated headlines over the past week.

An earlier confrontation between Alien Skin’s entourage and Pallaso’s team at Empele festival in Buloba prompted security to fire bullets into the air to restore order.

Alien Skin’s group reportedly disrupted Pallaso’s set, attempting to stop him from completing his performance.

Pallaso’s team fought back, leading to a violent scene.

The clash reportedly began after claims that Pallaso had made disparaging remarks about Alien Skin.

Earlier, Alien’s gang tried to force their way onto the stage, demanding Alien Skin perform ahead of schedule. When bouncers resisted, violence broke out, leaving several people injured and requiring police and military intervention.

Alien Skin was recently accused of vandalizing the National Unity Platform (NUP) headquarters in Kavule on December 21, 2024.

NUP said Alien Skin and his associates threatened a security guard and defaced the premises with provocative graffiti:

“It is regrettable that these brothers have learnt nothing from those who the regime and other detractors have used against the people in the past, including Sipapa, Sobi, Zebra, Kitatta, among others,” said NUP.

The string of violent confrontations—ranging from music festivals to private residences—has sparked national debate on the intersections of celebrity feuds, public safety, and political tension.

The public is calling for swift legal action and urging stricter measures to prevent further violence within Uganda’s entertainment scene.
