"Can Mpuuga Return To Parliament Without NUP Support." Gashumba Tasks Mpuuga To Prove Himself.

After falling out with the National Unity Platform (NUP) party, all eyes will be on Hon. Mathias Mpuuga to see whether he can return again to Parliament.

This time with the NUP support off him, will Mpuuga beat the odds to return to Parliament come the 2026 General Elections?

Frank Gashumba has tasked Mathias Mpuuga to prove himself come 2026 if he can make it back to Parliament.

"Mpuuga now needs to demonstrate to the country that he can return to parliament without relying on a NUP ticket. If he is uncertain about winning in Masaka, he should reconsider contesting, as losing again would be an embarrassing moment for him," said Gashumba via the Entugga program on Radio 4.

A glimpse of Mpuuga's life after NUP has already been witnessed as he is still politically active and doing the needful to ensure a change of governance.

With Mpuuga's new political party, the Democratic Alliance, all eyes will be set on the 2026 General Elections, whether it will be a rising point for Mpuuga or his fall.
