How a Stolen ISO Pistol Was Recovered from a Pit Latrine at a Guest House in Masaka

A surprising discovery at Perfect Guest House in Masaka, led to the recovery of a stolen Internal Security Organization (ISO) pistol. The firearm was found in the guest house's pit latrine, prompting the Fire Brigade Police to assist in its retrieval.

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) detectives, investigating the missing weapon, requested the Fire Brigade's expertise to handle the recovery.

"CID investigators contacted us for help in retrieving the gun from the pit latrine," an officer said. "Our officers responded promptly and successfully recovered the firearm."
