UAE Allows Visa On Arrival For 87 Countries, India Not On List

Abu Dhabi: Travelling to the United Arab Emirates just got easier for 87 countries. The UAE government has updated its visa exemption policy which allows nationals from 87 countries to enter the country with a visa on arrival.
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while 87 countries will now be eligible for a visa-on-arrival, nationals from 110 countries still need a visa before they land in the UAE.
In this list of 87 countries, India has not been included, meaning that Indians would need to apply for a visa for the UAE in order to enter the country.

Nationals from the countries belonging to the Gulf Cooperation Council do not need a visa or any scholarship to visit the UAE. Upon arrival, these nationals would be required to show a valid passport of the respective GCC State or a valid ID.
Nationals coming from the 87 countries mentioned above would be able to acquire a valid entry visa for 30 days. These visitors would also get an additional grace period of 10 days. As per Gulf News, specific countries would also be eligible for a 90-day visa on arrival
