Pope Francis Gave Me a Special Prayer to Get a Child

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, has paid tribute to the Pope Francis, describing the late Pontiff as a humble, prayerful, and unifying religious leader who championed the rights of the unborn.
Tayebwa, who has met Pope Francis several times at the Vatican, shared some heartwarming moments from their encounters in an exclusive interview with the Nile Post.
"I found Pope Francis to be humble, unifying, and an advocate for the unborn babies," Tayebwa said.
One of the most memorable moments for Tayebwa was when Pope Francis gave him a special prayer during one of their meetings.
"Pope Francis gave me a special prayer for me to get a child after spending nine years in marriage without one," Tayebwa revealed, adding that shortly after receiving the prayer, his wife gave birth to their only child.
Tayebwa also highlighted the strong bond between Uganda and the Vatican, citing the Uganda martyrs as a significant bridge between the two.
"The Uganda martyrs are a serious bridge between Uganda and the Vatican," he said.
Reflecting on Pope Francis's legacy, Tayebwa praised the late pontiff for his dedication to prayer and his unwavering commitment to protecting human life.
"Pope Francis has been humble and prayerful," Tayebwa said, adding that the Pope's advocacy for the unborn would be remembered for generations to come.
