“We Were Paid to Kill Him” 3 UPDF Soldiers Arrested Over Cold-Blooded Murder of Mukono School Owner

Shock and fear have hit the town of Mukono after three Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) soldiers were arrested for the brutal murder of a well-known school owner, Mr. Godfrey Wayengera. He was the director of Beloved Day Care and Nursery School, a place loved by many parents for its care and discipline.
The sad incident began when Mr. Wayengera was kidnapped in Namumira village by armed men dressed in uniforms that looked like those worn by the army.
Witnesses say the attackers were driving a pickup vehicle that looked like a police patrol. Because of the way they looked, many people thought it was a normal arrest by security officers. No one expected that it was the beginning of a deadly mission.
Later that same day, Mr. Wayengera’s body was found dumped in a nearby bush. His hands were tied, and his body showed signs of torture.
The entire community was left in shock, unable to believe that a peaceful man like Wayengera could be murdered in such a painful way.
Security agencies immediately launched investigations. After collecting evidence and questioning people around the area, three UPDF soldiers were arrested.
During interrogation, the soldiers confessed that they were not acting alone or on army orders. They revealed that someone had paid them to carry out the killing.
“We were paid to do it,” one of the soldiers reportedly told investigators. The soldiers did not reveal the name of the person who hired them, but police say they are following leads to find the main suspect behind the murder.
The news has caused fear among residents, with many wondering how army officers could turn into hired killers.
Teachers and parents at Beloved Day Care are mourning the loss of their director, describing him as a kind, hardworking, and humble man who loved education and children.
“He built this school from nothing. He helped so many people. Why would someone want to kill him like that?” asked one of the teachers in tears.
Police and UPDF officials have confirmed the arrests and promised that justice will be done. Investigations are ongoing, and more arrests may follow
