Former Pader LCV Chairman Oringa Largo Godfrey to Vie for Pader LCV Seat in 2026

Pader, Uganda – Oringa Largo Godfrey, commonly known as “International Man,” the former Pader District LCV Chairman, has made a decision to run for the Pader LCV seat in the 2026-2031 general elections without fear or favor.
In an exclusive interview from Pajule Town Council on Sunday, Oringa stated that he has been receiving numerous phone calls from concerned voters urging him to contest again for the position in 2026. He expressed confidence that returning to his former seat would be a straightforward task for him and his supporters.
Oringa appreciated the current government of the NRM, led by H.E. Gen. Yoweri Museveni Kaguta, and noted that it is time to bring him back as the right person for building NRM ideology in Pader and Northern Uganda as a whole. He emphasized his desire to unite the people of Pader District across all sub-counties to advance development.
He promised to work with any MP elected by the people of Pader to foster development without political segregation. Key items on his agenda include the follow-up of road construction for the Puranga-Acholibur road, the tarmacking of the Pader-Pajule road, and upgrading health centers to eliminate staffing gaps.
In addition, he stated that reconciliation of land disputes, advocating for quality education, and improving teacher motivation and welfare are also crucial aspects of his agenda for the 2026 political implementation and service delivery to the people.
On a related note, Oringa mentioned that all two counties should have trucks for transporting market vendors, and he plans to lobby for this initiative himself.
