Chief Rwenzururu Kingdom Princess laid to rest

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has described the late Princess Asinasi Muhindo Kunihira Kibanzanga, 72 year-old, as a dedicated National Resistance Movement (NRM) cadre who wholeheartedly supported the Government.

In a message read by the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament, Rt.Hon. Dr. Crispus Kiyonga during the requiem service held today at Rwenzori Square in Kasese town, President Museveni said the late Princess Kunihira was an assertive woman whose ideas strengthened the relationship between the Government and the Rwenzururu Cultural Institution following the royal family’s visit to his country home in Rwakitura in 2012.

The President said the late Princess Kunihira was committed to promoting wealth creation, education, peace, and security, among others.
