Kasambya County MP Daudi Kabanda has vowed to continue criticizing presidential adviser Odrek Rwabwogo, President Yoweri Museveni’s son-in-law, insisting that nothing will stop him except death.Kabanda made the remarks after reports that Rwabwogo had sought President Museveni’s intervention over his continued attacks and social media comments.

The legislator alleged that Rwabwogo presented his statements to the President and wanted him to publicly distance himself from Kabanda. He claimed the move was intended to damage his political image and influence. However, Kabanda dismissed the alleged efforts, saying he would not be intimidated by powerful individuals.“What can actually stop me from talking about the thieves like him is DEATH, nothing else,” Kabanda said.

The MP also defended his contribution to the NRM, claiming he helped strengthen the party’s support in Mubende despite limited resources. He accused Rwabwogo of corruption and land-related controversies, allegations that remain disputed, and challenged President Museveni to focus on the issues he has raised.

The clash between the two NRM figures has attracted attention due to Rwabwogo’s close ties to the First Family and Kabanda’s outspoken political style.Reports indicate that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has advised Kabanda against continuing his attacks on Rwabwogo, but the MP maintains he will keep speaking out.The dispute has sparked wider debate about internal disagreements within the NRM and the space for leaders to criticize one another.
