Ten Senior Prosecutors Promoted to Principal State Attorneys
Kampala– The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has announced elevation of ten Senior Prosecutors who have been promoted to the rank of Principal State Attorney.

According to the statement released on Friday, signed by Jacquelyn Okui, the Public Relations Officer of the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), the promotion followed a competitive internal recruitment process conducted by
the Public Service Commission under Internal Advertisement No. 8/2025.
The newly promoted officers are; Owor Deovoter Beatrice, Faucan Patricia Cingtho, Namuya Emmanuel, Akite Miriam Grace, Luzinda Bernard Toskin David Chebet.
Others included; Agulipa Patrick ,Mutebi Isaac Gyagenda, Tuhairwe Addan and Namuwaya Beatrice
“These promotions recognize the officers’ dedication, competence, professionalism, and commitment to advancing the mandate of the ODPP. Their elevation to the rank of Principal State Prosecutor reflects the Office’s commitment to rewarding merit and strengthening prosecutorial leadership.” Remarked Jacquelyn.
The Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr. Lino Anguzu, congratulated the
promoted officers on their new roles and encouraged them to uphold integrity, excellence, and impartiality in the discharge of their responsibilities.
