Mother, her Two Children Arrested over Mityana Robbery
Three people, including a mother and her two sons, have been arrested over an aggravated robbery case in Kakindu, Mityana District, after residents intercepted one of the suspects and recovered military items from him.
Regional Police Spokesman Lameck Kigozi confirmed the arrest.
Mityana police investigators and the Regional Flying Squad said Nzabashaija Wilberforce, 26, allegedly arrived in Kiwoya Bweza village on August 1 before later going on a robbery spree with his brother, Kusasira Fredrick.
Police noted that the suspects had military attire and other recovered items, and that the trio, including their mother who allegedly tried to block police work, remain under investigation as the file is prepared for the Resident State Attorney.
