BREAKING! Court Sentences 2 to Death over Murder of Ndiga Clan Leader, Bbosa
The Lugya's have been sentenced to death
High Court has today, Thursday, August 13, 2026 sentenced two to death for the murder of former Ndiga clan leader Daniel Lwomwa Bbosa. The former clan leader was shot dead on February 24, 2024, at Kikandwa Village in Lungujja.
According to a statement from ODPP, the duo designated as accused persons A1 Lugya Bbosa and A2 Lugya Noah alias Fake, pleaded guilty to the offence of murder of the Ndiga clan head which occurred at Kikandwa village in Lugujja.
The trial for the remaining 3 accused persons is fixed for 8th September 2026.
The Office of the DPP is represented by Chief State Attorney Joseph Kyomuhendo, Senior State Attorney Marion Ben Bella and Senior State Attorney Carol Tabaro participating in allocutus before Judge Matovu David.
