Minister Babalanda Announces Burial Timeline For Former President Press Secretary Onapito Ekomoloit

The Minister incharge of the presidency Milly Babalanda, has revealed more information concerning the burial timelines of former Amuria county MP and presidential press secretary Onapito Ekomoloit.

In a statement issued through her X handle, Minister Babalanda revealed that government officials had a meeting with with the family and lawyer of the deceased and agreed on burial arrangements.

"Following a meeting involving the family and lawyer of the deceased former Member of Parliament for Amuria and Presidential Press Secretary, Hon. Onapito Ekomoloit and the National Organising Committee (N.O.C) at the Cabinet library today, it has agreed to align the burial arrangements with the will of the deceased," she said.

She has revealed that they have agreed to have the burial of Mr Onapito Ekomoloit in late November this year's as let his wishes in the will.

Babalanda has said the family and parliament will shared the final arrangements in early November.

"Therefore, Hon. Onapito will be buried in late November (this year) according to his wishes as contained in the will. N.O.C, the family and Parliament will give an update on final arrangements early in November. We continue to pray for the bereaved to find strength in this trying time," the minister revealed.
