Ashton Kutcher fears Sean 'Diddy' Combs could 'make up claims about famous pals to clear name'
Ashton Kutcher and Sean 'Diddy' Combs were once good pals, but since Diddy's arrest for alleged sex trafficking, the actor is said to be fearful of what the rapper will say or do next
Ashton Kutcher is said to be terrified that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs could make up stories about his famous pals in a bid to ‘clear his name’.
The Butterfly Effect star has often been pictured with pal of two decades Diddy and attended his infamous ‘White Parties’ over the years. But now Diddy is in jail awaiting trial for alleged sex trafficking, engaging in prostitution, racketeering and other crimes, Ashton has appeared to distance himself from the hip hop mogul.
Sources are said to claim Ashton ‘regrets his friendship’ with the I’ll Be Missing You rapper and feels ‘lied to, betrayed, taken for granted and manipulated’. And the actor is now reportedly fearful that his name could get dragged into the impending court case if Diddy turns on his celeb friends in a desperate bid to get out of prison.

Though it hasn’t happened yet, Ashton is said to have thought he would receive a subpoena – a US court summons – after Diddy’s houses were raided earlier this year.
A source told DailyMail.com: “Everyone who is close to Diddy fears the possibility of Diddy making up false allegations to clear his own name. Ashton does have fears about how this investigation will play out. He feels Diddy would have no problem lying to authorities and tossing out some of his famous friend’s names if it meant it could get him out of jail. Diddy could say anything, do anything, or turn on anyone at this point.
"Ashton does not want to get involved in this, but he knows his association means he already is. If he gets contacted by the authorities, he will be fully cooperative as he has nothing to hide. Ashton knows he has dug himself a hole with his one, but never in a million years did he believe that Diddy was truly doing these horrible things.”
The source claimed that Ashton had never attended one of Diddy’s so-called ‘Freak Off’ sessions – drug-fuelled sex sessions which happened after hours at his parties and went on ‘for days’. And Ashton is said to have cut ties with Diddy after seeing the video of him beating and dragging his then girlfriend, singer Cassie, across a hotel lobby.
Prior to that the pair are said to have had a ‘genuine friendship’, but when Ashton and his wife Mila Kunis saw the clip they ‘realised he was a monster and not someone they want in their life’.
Diddy’s arrest comes shortly after Ashton and Mila’s former That 70s Show co-star Danny Masterson was jailed for 30 years for rape. The couple came under fire for sending letters asking for leniency before Masterson’s sentencing. This led to Ashton stepping down as chair of his anti-child sex abuse organisation and issuing a public apology.
The source said Ashton now feels the same way about Diddy as he does about Masterson. They added: “He now trusts no one, except for his wife Mila. He is going to keep his circle to his family.” The Mirror has approached Ashton’s reps for further comment on this story
