Renowned Ugandan lawyer, Agather Atuhaire has expressed her concern over the arrest of a woman who was taken into custody after her house was demolished.The suspect, Rose Nammudu, 72 is allegedly going to spend months behind police custody, her house was recently demolished by the government under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, she was accused of failing to comply with the directives given prior to her arrest.She is a resident of Nansana West 11 A Zone, Nabweru ward, Nansana Municipality in Wakiso District.In other news, the Uganda Police Force has called for vigilance ahead of the Christmas and New year celebrations in Uganda.Several sources have confirmed that the police have urged parents to ensure that their children are within their reach to avoid cases of missing children who are often trafficked in different parts of the country.Cases of suspects who tend to take advantage of young girls. The police have also urged motorists to ensure they stay vigilant to help reduce road accidents in the country that have left several people dead.
