Human Rights Lawyer Kiiza Eron Reacts As Bebe Cool Tells Singer Azawi to Stay Away from Politics

Renowned Ugandan Musician, Bebe Cool has urged Ugandan Musician Azawi to stop making political statements unless he plans to run for a political seat.

His remarks has caught the attention of Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this, most of them stating that Uganda is free country.

Taking to his X formerly Twitter account to speak on this, Ugandan Human Rights Lawyer, Kiiza Eron has asked Bebe Cool to stop telling other musicians what to do adding that they are allowed to speak their mind.

Kiiza Eron :Wrong politics make music either difficul or impossible. The best artists engage with social and political issues. BOB MARLEY, Lucky Dube. Even Micheal Jackson had to tackle social and political subjects.

Ultimately, music is a medium of expression. Freedom of expression entails political statements & politics. 

Bebe Cool is not only misleading other artists. He does not follow his own gospel. He is a known campaigner for M7, a politician; and the son (Muhoozi) who is incapable of staying away from politics—though as a serving soldier—the law prohibits him from such.
