"His Blood Will Be Avenged And The Thieves Will Pay." Gen Muhoozi Responds To Lt. Atiho's Suicide.

Reports from the morning hours of yesterday, the 2nd of January, 2025, indicate that a UPDF officer by the name of Lt. Ariho Amon under the Engineering Brigade committed suicide at Nakirebe, located between Wakiso and Mpigi districts.

It is alleged that the incident happened at around 2 pm on the 1st of January, 2025. 

Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the first son and Chief of Defence Forces of the UPDF, broke his silence on the trending issue by showing his sympathy and sending condolence messages to the deceased.

"I am personally hurt by the suicide of our young officer... Lt. Ariho. He died because of the corruption Mzee and I have been talking about for a long time now. His blood will be avenged, and the thieves will pay," said Gen Muhoozi via his X (formerly Twitter) account.
