The government isn’t interested in copyright amendment – Dax Vibez

Singer Dax Vibez, real name Ivan Bugembe Sentamu is not certain about the government’s interest in having the copyright law amended.

The singer who is enjoying massive airplay from his songs At My Door and Tabbu (feat. Ava Peace) says that if the government wanted to amend the law and help artists benefit from their work, it would have already been done because it is a simple process.

He believes that with the copyright law amended, artists would have free will and wouldn’t need to beg the government for cash handouts, something that those in power do not fancy.

The government cannot amend the copyright law because if it is amended, we shall be independent and wealthy. The government doesn’t want artists to be independent and rich because that gives us free will.
They are using these federations to make it a long process. It is easy, the copyright law would have already been amended by now. They want us to remain broke and begging for cash handouts.
