Security Guard in Kawempe Fatally Shoots ‘Nkuba Kyeyo’ Over Erratic Girlfriend
Sharif Sekajigo will not be able to return to kyeyo in Qatar after he was shot by a security guard assigned to a building called Twin Mall along Ttuula road in Kawempe.
Eyewitnesses report that he was killed following an incident where his drunk girlfriend hurled insults and vulgarities at a security guard around 5 am.
Our news desk has acquired information indicating that the late Ssekajigo, who was driving a rented Toyota Spacio with his girlfriend, first visited Vegas bar in Kawempe, where they consumed a lot of beer and shisha with friends until 4 am.
They then decided to travel to meet other friends who were also having a good time at another bar on Ttula road in Kawempe.
However, their enjoyment turned into conflict when one of the patrons in the bar reported a missing Tecno smartphone and accused Sekajigo of taking it. Moments later, a fight broke out as they demanded the return of the phone, resulting in a brawl.
The chaotic situation prompted Sekajigo’s girlfriend to run to a security guard at a nearby mall to ask for help, but he declined, stating it was not his responsibility, given that all involved were intoxicated adults.
An eyewitness further stated that the guard’s refusal to assist Sekajigo led to the drunken girlfriend verbally attacking him with vulgarities, including insults about his socioeconomic status, while emphasizing that her boyfriend was wealthy, earning dollars abroad.
She repeatedly questioned him about his reluctance to step in. Eventually, Sekajigo managed to escape to his car, but the girlfriend continued her tirade against the security guard, causing him to lose his composure and fire the fatal shot that killed Sekajigo before fleeing the scene.
Further information gathered by our news desk reveals that the deceased was on a two-month holiday, scheduled to fly back this Friday. He was laid to rest in Luwero, leaving behind a young child and a significant amount of savings in both bank accounts and mobile money.
The security guard was employed by Pro Max Security.
