Media personality Brian Mulondo and his wife, Manuela Mulondo, are being scrutinised online after a video revealed that their children struggle to understand and speak their native language, Luganda.

In a YouTube video where the couple discussed family, parenting, and marriage, they attempted to teach their children essential aspects of their culture.

However, to the surprise of many viewers, the children showed difficulty comprehending Luganda.

One moment in particular sparked debate online—when Brian and Manuela asked their children to fetch plates from the kitchen, the kids mistakenly brought saucepans instead.

This incident has since led to criticism, with netizens questioning why the couple had not prioritised teaching their children their mother tongue.
