NTV Exposes JAT Officers for Forcing Journalist To Delete Footages Caught During Clashes in Kawempe
NTV Uganda has exposed JAT opetetives who allegedly attacked NTV Journalists, demanded that they delete some of the footages they caught during the Clashes between the police and the Supporters of the National Unity Platform in Kawempe North.
Several sources have confirmed that a video of the incident that is currently making rounds on social media platforms shows the JAT Officers attacking journalists, an incident that caught the attention of Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to express their concern.
NTV shared a video of the incident on their social media platforms, Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this accused the government under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of not respecting journalists.
The police clashed with the Supporters of the National Unity Platform during NUPs campaigns in Kawempe North, the members of the National Unity Platform were campaigning for their Flag Bearer for Kawempe North MP seat, Mr Nalukoola before chaos broke out.
Taking to his different social media platforms to speak on this, National Unity Platform, President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine stated that the government under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is trying to intimidate NUP supporters ahead of the 2026 Presidential elections in Uganda.
