MP Hillary Kiyaga Leaks Museveni’s Explosive Secret After He Survived UPDF's Torture Yesterday

Mawokota North Member of Parliament, Hillary Kiyaga, has made shocking claims about the infamous Toyota Hiace vans, commonly known as "drones," used by Ugandan security personnel.
Hillary Kiyaga, currently admitted at Lubaga Referral Hospital, described these vehicles as "mobile torture chambers," revealing the terrifying experience he endured after allegedly surviving an abduction attempt by the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).
Speaking from his hospital bed, Hillary Kiyaga detailed how security operatives use these vans to detain and brutalize government critics.
"Once inside, you are blindfolded, beaten, and interrogated under extreme conditions. Many victims do not make it out alive," he claimed.
His statements add to growing concerns over human rights violations linked to President Yoweri Museveni’s regime.
Kiyaga's accusations follow increasing reports of opposition politicians, activists, and journalists disappearing into these unmarked vehicles, only to reappear later with harrowing accounts of mistreatment.
Civil society organizations and international human rights bodies have repeatedly condemned the use of these vans, demanding accountability from the Ugandan government.
The legislator’s hospitalization has sparked outrage among opposition leaders, who accuse security agencies of using abductions and torture as tools of repression.
The Ugandan government has consistently denied allegations of enforced disappearances, dismissing them as propaganda. However, Kiyaga’s revelations add to mounting evidence suggesting that state security agencies are operating with impunity.

With his survival, Kiyaga has vowed to continue exposing what he calls Museveni’s explosive secret about state brutality.
His case is likely to intensify pressure on the government to account for the countless victims who have vanished into these so-called "mobile torture chambers."
