Victoria Beckham has left fans hot under the collar after posting a topless snap of David while he posed in his tight shorts.

The singer-turned-fashion designer took to her Instagram page on Saturday evening to post a sweaty photo of her husband and one of herself shortly after their intense workout out at the gym.

The 48-year-old former England champ managed to impress his supporters with his toned abs and colourful tattoos and appeared more than pleased with the results of his exercise. The star was pictured with a huge grin on his face while having his head turned to the side and wore only his pink shorts, bright red trainers, and a black cap.

Sharing her admiration for her husband - whom she has been married to for more than 20 years - the 49-year-old mother of four penned: Saturday morning workout with this fit guy! You’re welcome!!! Kisses @davidbeckham x."

Fans hilariously responded to the post, with one person joking: "Thx for your service." Meanwhile, a second person added: "The way Victoria shows off her husband and boosts his self-esteem when she doesn’t really have to, is just a proof of how confident this powerful woman is, bloody obsessed." A third person chimed in: "V is always doing the lord’s work for us. We appreciate you captain." A fourth person said: "I love that you love each other so much!"

David and Victoria share four children together: Harper, 12, Cruz, 19, Romeo, 21, and Brooklyn, 25. Recently, David couldn't contain his emotion after sharing how he'd felt about his daughter Harper growing up. He posted a black and white photo of the pair and said: "My little girl is growing up" and added a face holding back tears emoji.

He previously admitted that he has only ever said "no" to his youngest "once." In an interview with The Sun, he said: "I’ve only said no to my daughter once. Harper is a dream, but the last time I said it, her bottom lip started to quiver and I thought, 'Never again'. I try to not be tough with the boys but encourage them, especially when it came to football."

David and daughter Harper share a special bond

David revealed he can be tough on his kids - but has a different parenting style to that of his own father. "I used to probably end up in tears every time I got in the car with him after a game,” he recalled.

"When we won a game or lost it, whether I played good or bad, he would always tell me the things I should be doing and the things I wasn’t doing. As a kid, it’s difficult. But then I realised, quite a few years later, playing for the teams that I played for, that I had got through those difficult moments in my career because my dad was so hard on me at a young age. And I’m thankful for that."
