Ssemakadde Finally Breaks Silence on Secret Talks With Jailed Lawyer Kiiza Eron
During a recent Twitter Spaces discussion, exiled lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde was asked to explain claims that he had told jailed lawyer Eron Kiiza to apologize to powerful people in the government and military to regain his freedom.
Ssemakadde became very angry when asked about this. He said he could not talk about it because lawyers must keep their discussions with clients private. He added that he would only speak about the matter after having a private talk with Eron Kiiza.
He explained that after speaking with Kiiza, he would decide whether to tell the public about what happened. He also said he would then know if Kiiza was still his friend or had turned against him.
Ssemakadde was also very upset with people like Agatha Atuheire, Toko, and fellow lawyer Frank Kanduho. He accused them of spreading false information that he had taken advantage of Kiiza’s situation to push him into making a bad deal.
He insisted that he had nothing to hide and promised to share all the details with the world at the right time.
