I connected myself to the international market - Eddy Kenzo
He made his breakthrough in 2015 after the release of the "Sitya Loss" song, which was a hit across the world and even won a BET award.
Eddy Kenzo is arguably the biggest Ugandan artist.
He made his breakthrough in 2015 after the release of the "Sitya Loss" song, which was a hit across the world and even won a BET award.
Kenzo has for long been criticised by some Ugandan artists, specifically Big Eye, who accuse him of blocking all connections to the international market.
Kenzo, however, says he has no international connections; the singer says he connected himself to the market.
Kenzo explained that he did vast research and chose to improve his production for a better outcome.
"No one connected me to the international level, and I connected myself. I did enough research about the music that blew up all over the world. They need to look into themselves and find a way of making it better," he explained.
The Presidential advisor on creatives says artists need to improve themselves and their production, conduct research, and do better, rather than relying on connections to the international market
