“Nobody Wants This” Films Halloween Scene for Season 2 — See Adam Brody, Leighton Meester and Justine Lupe's Costumes!

The cast of Nobody Wants This season 2 is channeling their spooky alter egos!
In photos obtained by PEOPLE, Netflix stars Adam Brody, Leighton Meester and Justine Lupe were spotted walking to set wearing their character's Halloween costumes for a party scene in the upcoming season.
Brody appeared to be dressed like a zombie or another undead creature. He was seen wearing a tuxedo with pale face makeup, darkness under his eyes and black eyeliner. Lupe, on the other hand, paid tribute to the iconic film, Pretty Woman, wearing a two-toned mini-dress with cutouts on her side.
While Brody and Lupe's costumes were identifiable, Meester's look remains a mystery. The Gossip Girl alum was spotted wearing an oversized purple plaid shacket with yellow stripes and mustard-colored pants.
The first season of Nobody Wants This became an instant hit, with Netflix announcing its decision to renew the series for a second installment in October 2024. The last episode left fans sitting on the edge of their seats. Viewers and crew alike were thrilled to learn that Noah (Brody) and Joanne’s (Kristen Bell) love story wouldn't leave off on a cliffhanger.
“The incredible cast, crew, producers and executives all made this into the show it is today, and to experience viewers' reactions to this series now that it's out in the world has been more than anything I could have dreamed," said show creator Erin Foster in a statement at the time. "I’m so lucky to be able to continue this story ... Justice for healthy relationships being the most romantic!"
Nobody Wants This is inspired by Foster’s real-life love story with her husband, Simon Tikham. The series follows Noah, a newly single rabbi, and Joanne, an agnostic dating podcaster, as they attempt to make their relationship work despite major cultural differences.
In addition to Brody, Bell and Lupe, most of the show’s primary cast is set to return. Lupe and Timothy Simons will reprise their roles as the leads' siblings Morgan and Sasha, respectively. Other returning cast members include Jackie Tohn as Esther and Sherry Cola as Ashley.
Brody’s real-life wife, Meester, is also a guest star in the second season of Nobody Wants This. She will play Abby, Joanne’s middle school nemesis, who’s become an "Instagram mommy influencer," per Variety.
Bottoms star Miles Fowler will play Lenny, Noah’s Matzah Ballers teammate, who is set up with Joanne’s sister, Morgan.
