Enough of Your Nonsense - Kasingye Slams Kira DPC Over Threatening his Workers

Asan Kasingye says Kira DPC has been intimidating his private security company workers at Tayari
Former Chief Political Commissar of the Uganda Polic, Asan Kasingye, has gone bare knuckles on Kira Road DPC, Tyson Rutambika for "threatening" his employees.
Kasingye, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, claims that the DPC has for long been threatening supervisors of his private security company, Tayari Security Services Ltd.
In a rare display of frustration on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Kasingye, who is typically known for his humility, expressed his anger and warned the DPC to stop interfering with his supervisors.
While many questioned Kasingye's decision to air his grievances on social media instead of going through official channels, he defended his actions by stating that he had already attempted all formal avenues without any indication that the DPC would relent.
"DPC Kira Road. The threats you tell my Tayari supervisors, tell them to me directly. I have stomached a lot of your nonsense. Enough is enough!" he posted.
His comments have sparked a mixed reaction among netizens, with some pledging their support to help him confront DPC, while others highlighted the challenges faced by officials like him who lose influence after leaving high-ranking positions.
Speaking to this reporter, the DPC could not provide detailed clarification but instead suggested that we contact Kasingye for more details.
"I would request you call him (Kasingye). I don't know (about the claims). You can call even call the PRO. He's aware." Rutambika said.
Kasingye founded Tayari, a private security firm, shortly after retiring from Police in 2022.
At the time of his retirement, he had served as the Police's Chief Political Commissar since 2017, and prior to that, he was the head of Interpol.
Since leaving the police force, he has become an active X (Twitter) user, frequently engaging in various discussions.
