Ten Brits are accused of committing war crimes 'by targeting and killing civilians and aid workers' in Gaza while fighting for Israel
Ten British Nationals have been accused of deliberately shooting civilians in Gaza while serving with the Israeli military.
The alleged war crimes include 'running a bulldozer over a dead body' and a vehicle demolishing part of a hospital.
A report fronted by one of Britain's most prominent human rights lawyers states civilians and aid workers were purposely targeted and killed.
The 240-page-dossier, seen by The Telegraph, also makes reference to 'coordinated attacks' on protected buildings, including historic monuments and religious sites.
It relies on testimonials from witnesses and open source evidence including videos published on social media.
One witness claimed a bulldozer 'ran over a dead body in a horrific and heart-wrenching scene desecrating the dead'.
Another said Israeli soldiers had ordered her father, husband and children to strip before taking them one by one into a living room, covered in glass, where they were beaten with an electric cable and large billiard stick.
The evidence was compiled by a group of lawyers in Britain and researchers in The Hague, covering the first six months of the conflict - October 2023 to May 2024.
It comes as both Netanyahu and Yoav Galant, his former defence minister, are the subject of arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity.
Denying the allegations in relation to the warrant, Netanyahu said 'the decision was made by a corrupt chief prosecutor attempting to save himself from serious allegations of sexual harassment, and by biased judges driven by anti-Semitic hatred towards Israel'.
Both Israel and the US have also argued the ICC has no jurisdiction over the state as it is not a member of the court.
Michael Mansfield KC, who represented the victims of Grenfell Tower, said he planned to submit the lengthy dossier to Scotland Yard's Counter Terrorism Command on behalf of the organisations on Monday afternoon.
He added his group hoped the report would compel the Metropolitan Police to begin an investigation against the suspects - of dual British and Israeli nationality, and bring charges against them, if successful.
Mr Mansfield said: 'In the last 18 months we have witnessed international crimes unfold.
'Our leaders have done little if anything to prevent the suffering of millions of innocent Palestinians. British nationals are under a legal obligation not to collude with crimes committed in Palestine. No one is above the law.'
Some of the suspects are believed to be of officer rank.
Further details are not permitted for publication due to the risk of prejudicing criminal investigations.
Paul Heron, the legal director of the Public Interest Law Centre, a human rights organisation which commissioned the report, said it was 'shocking' British citizens had actively served in Israel's armed forces.
Much of Gaza now lies in ruins after 18 months of fighting, which erupted on October 7, 2023 when thousands of Hamas-led gunmen attacked Israeli communities around the Gaza Strip, killing some 1,200 people, according to Israeli tallies, and abducting 251 hostages into Gaza over the continued occupation of Palestinian land.
The Israeli campaign in response has killed more than 48,000 people, according to Palestinian health authorities, and destroyed much of the housing and infrastructure in the enclave, including the hospital system.
