Ziza Bafana Disappointed by Bebe Cool’s Remarks on Dictating Media Playlists

Sensational dancehall musician Ziza Bafana has expressed his disappointment with singer Bebe Cool following recent remarks about controlling playlists on radio and TV stations in Uganda.

According to Ziza Bafana, he felt extremely let down after watching Bebe Cool boast about having the power to decide which musicians’ songs should be played or blocked on different media platforms.

Bafana described Bebe Cool’s statements as “heartbreaking” and “non-exemplary,” especially coming from someone regarded as a legend in the Ugandan music industry.

The tension comes after Bebe Cool publicly revealed that he has strong influence over most of Uganda’s media houses because of his close relationships with the station owners.

He claimed this connection allows him to control the playlists, favouring certain artists over others.

Ziza Bafana believes that such behavior is unfair and damages the growth of the music industry, especially for upcoming and independent artists who depend on fair media exposure.
