Lydia Jazmine urges society to stop pressuring women on marriage and parenthood
Lydia Jazmine has spoken out, asking the public to stop pressuring her to get married and have children.
In an interview with Galaxy TV, Jazmine made it clear that marriage and motherhood are not currently part of her plans.
Jazmine said that these life decisions are deeply personal and should happen only when the time is right.
Don’t you people get tired of asking us to get married and giving birth? That’s a timing that someone decides when they are ready. I don’t think everyone wants that.
I feel like it’s very wrong to keep pressuring people to get married and give birth. When the time is right, it’ll happen.
The singer explained that she is fully focused on her career at the moment and believes no one should be forced into marriage or parenthood because of societal expectations.
