Dramatic Scenes In Lugogo as Several students Are Arrested While Protesting Over This

Several students have been arrested by police as they marched to KCB bank to protest against it's decision to debt fund the East African Crude Oil Pipeline Project.
The government deployed the police who contained the incident, the students who were arrested were taken into police custody.
They will later appear in court where they might be charged with disturbing the peace.
In other news, Ugandas Chief of Defence Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has thanked the members of parliament who voted in support of the UPDF Amendment Bill.
Taking to his X formerly Twitter to speak on this, General Muhoozi praised the MPs describing them as Lions.
The trial of civilians in military courts was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of Uganda, a ruling that was challenged by President Yoweri Museveni and his son, General Muhoozi.
In a post on X, President Yoweri Museveni stated that the Court Martial helped in keeping Uganda peaceful.
This is happening at the same time when National Unity Platform, President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine claimed that President Yoweri Museveni uses their own people to go after them.
Mr. Wine also described the MPs who voted in support of the UPDF Amendment Bill as enemies of the people.
