Suspect Shot Dead At Minister's Home in Busia, Police Reveal What He Was Doing
Police In Busia are investigating the death of a man who was shot and killed by Police after he was caught sneaking into the home of a government official.
According to the reports given by the police, the deceased whose name is yet to be revealed was shot and killed by Police as he was trying to flee.
The fatal shooting occurred in the morning at a home in Bugunduhira B village, Dabani Sub-county, the authorities who spoke about this stated that he was trying to rob the place.
The property where the incident occured belongs to Uganda's State Minister for Regional affairs, John Mulimba.
It remains unclear whether the Minister was present at the time of the incident.
In other news, President Yoweri Museveni has commended the members of the parliament who voted in support of the UPDF Amendment Bill 2025.
President Museveni who spoke after the bill was passed stated that the government is now going to deal with individuals who he said would have continued to murder people without being held accountable.
NUP President, Honorable Bobi Wine in a post on X formerly Twitter claimed that the President will use the court martial to target his political rivals.
