Minister Balaam Barugahara Reacts As Man Wearing Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba's Shirt is Beaten
Police in Uganda are investigating an incident several students were injured after a scuffle broke out at the University premises.
Taking to his X formerly Twitter to speak on this, Youth and Chidren Affairs Minister, Honorable Balaam Barugahara has shared a photo of one of the students who was beaten mercilessly.
He went on to say that it is so unfortunate that the students decided to fight over a misunderstanding.
Ugandans who also took to their different social media platforms to speak on this have commended the police for arresting the suspects who were accused of causing Chaos.
This is happening at the same time when Ugandas Chief of Defence Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has called upon Ugandans to maintain peace during and after the 2026, Presidential elections in Uganda, stating that the Uganda People's Defence Forces is ready to deal with individuals who will try to cause chaos.
National Unity Platform, President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, in a post on X formerly Twitter, has claimed that the government is using the UPDF.
The renowned politician claimed that the government has been using the UPDF to target NUP, he shared a video of UPDF Soldiers raiding NUP headquarters.
