Muhoozi Declares Total War On Wazalendo In Explosive X Post, See Details

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has strongly condemned the Wazalendo group, describing them as a completely negative and destabilizing force in the region. In a powerful statement shared on his X handle, he emphasized that the activities of this group continue to endanger the peace and security of both Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to Muhoozi, their violent conduct has brought nothing but suffering to innocent civilians and disrupted efforts to bring lasting stability to the region.

He stated clearly that the joint forces of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) and the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) will relentlessly pursue the Wazalendo wherever they are found. “We will attack them at every turn,” he declared, adding that no corner of the region will serve as a safe haven for such elements. Muhoozi stressed that their presence will not be tolerated and that all available military force will be used to crush their operations.

However, he did offer a glimmer of hope for those willing to abandon their destructive path. In his post, Muhoozi stated that if the Wazalendo are clever enough, they should surrender now while they still can. He reiterated that surrender is the only option available to those who want to avoid facing the full weight of joint military action. The door to reintegration remains open, but time is running out.

Muhoozi made it clear that there is no room for negotiation with groups that continue to threaten national and regional security. His message was firm and direct: any individual or faction that chooses to align with chaos and rebellion will be met with force. The UPDF and FARDC are united in their mission and will not rest until every last element of the Wazalendo is neutralized. Peace will prevail
