Heavily Armed Men Allegedly Surround NUPs Secretary General, Hon. Rubongoya's Vehicle

National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary, Honorable General David Lewis Rubongoya, has expressed his concern after allegedly being trailed by heavily armed men.

In a post on X , the renowned politician claimed that soldiers took pictures of his vehicles at the Headquarters of the National Unity Platform, in Kavule, Kampala.

He went on to say that he was trailed by Heavily armed men who were moving in drones adding that they surrounded his vehicle, opened its doors and searched the vehicle while allegedly looking for him, for unknown reasons.

NUP Sec General David Lewis Rubongoya "Today, heavily armed men moving in a drone followed my vehicle. Around Kisasi, they moved out of the drone and surrounded it. They came hastily and opened the doors. Thankfully, I wasn't in the vehicle at the time. They searched it and found nothing. 

Disappointed that I was not in the vehicle , they asked the driver, comrade Norbert Ariho, for my whereabouts and he said he did not know. They drove off. 

WE ARE NOT CRIMINALS. If you suspect any of us of committing any offence, summon us at police instead of waylaying us on the streets and behaving like criminals".
