Police Release List of Successful Probationer Constable Applicants

The Uganda Police Force has released the list of successful probationer constable applicants around the country.

The force in March called for applications for a recruitment exercise for 10,000 probationer constables around the country.

Consequently, interviews were conducted between April, 28 to May , 52025.

According to an announcement this week, the successful applicants can check for their names on the police website, upf.go.ug.

“The selected candidates are required to report to the Police Training School indicated against their particulars on July 07, 2025. They should carry along originals and photocopies of academic documents and National Identity card, four passport size photographs, a mattress (3×6, at most 4 inches) and two blue pens,” the announcement says.

It adds that they should report with three counter books, two pairs of bed sheets, a pair of gumboots, a pair of canvas shoes, a tracksuit and two t-shirts for physical exercise, a mosquito net, at least four pairs of thick cotton sockings, a plastic 10 litre jerrican, and a plastic basin or bucket.

The police also asks that they should report with personal effect including two bars of soap, toothpaste, tooth brush, towel, razer blades, spoons, forks, plate, cup, six rolls of toilet paper and two packets of sanitary pads for ladies.

“We congratulate all the successful applicants and wish you the very best during training,” police said.
