Museveni Pressured to Act as Hidden Forces Within NRM Plot 'Secret Campaign' to Tarnish His Legacy

Senior Presidential Advisor Hadijah Namyalo has said that some people are using the name of State House without permission to carry out bad actions. She said President Museveni has never approved such behavior and if there is any order concerning her office, the President would talk to her directly.
After the attacks that happened recently, Namyalo met with the President and told him what was going on. She said the people behind the violence are powerful and connected to security and politics. These people, according to her, want to destroy her work by giving criminals power, pretending it is for political mobilisation.
She said some of the youth involved in the attacks were seen earlier that day near Pastor Kakande’s church wearing NRM yellow t-shirts. They told her someone brought them to the event, but later she was shocked to see them on the streets beating people.
Namyalo disagreed with Minister Haruna Kasolo, who said the opposition caused the violence. She said the real problem is inside the NRM, where some people are using their positions to do bad things and damage the party’s image and the President’s hard work.
She also said the same group behind last weekend’s violence is planning more chaos during the coming campaigns. But she promised that her office knows their plans and is ready to deal with them.
Namyalo said she was sorry for the pain the violence caused and said the youth were misled by selfish people. She said the youth are part of President Museveni’s support group known as “Bazukulu,” but warned that if the sabotage from within NRM is not stopped, more problems may happen as the elections get closer
