Brooklyn Beckham has recently gained attention for his constant public displays of affection for his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, while seemingly disregarding his own father, football legend David Beckham. The situation within the Beckham family has been a prevalent topic of speculation, especially after Brooklyn missed David’s 50th birthday celebrations and has stopped all communication with his siblings on social media.
This has sparked ongoing rumours of a rift between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz, and the Beckham family, which apparently began after the young couple’s wedding in 2022, reportedly costing £3 million. One critic even called Brooklyn and Nicola “inutterably cruel” for their continuous display of fondness for the Peltzes, as on Monday, June 1, the aspiring chef once again took the chance to criticise his famous father.

Brooklyn first shared a photo on social media wishing Nelson a happy birthday, featuring him, Nicola, and her father last week with a message that read, “Happy birthday Nelson x we love you,” which was in stark contrast to the non existent message he shared for his own dad.
MailOnline columnist Amanda Platell remarked that the pair's behaviour suggests they are not considering the former England captain's feelings, as she claimed they are taking David "for a fool".
The hot sauce owner, 26, went on to post yet another cosy display with the Peltzes yesterday, as he clearly delights in the strong bond with the Florida billionaires, and Nicola regularly speaks of the appreciation she has for her father's support.
The socialite, who threw an extravagant celebration for Nelson at his New York home, typed: "Happy birthday, Dad! I am so lucky to be your daughter; you’re the most loving and supportive father I could ever have dreamed of. I love you more than I could ever begin to express - you’re the wind beneath my wings. I loved celebrating you yesterday! Thank you for always being there for us - our constant love and support.”
In the comments, one person wrote: “How sad for David when he sees this,” and another added: “Seriously....you couldn't wish David a happy 50th?” and a third echoed: “Why does this post seem more like its rubbing it in than celebrating your dad.”
It comes as Brooklyn was backed by his godfather Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish, after he posted a photo with wife Nicola last week.
Elton wrote: “Happy Anniversary to the sweetest, most loving couple,” followed by love hearts, and his husband David added his own comment, which read: “Happy Anniversary to the gorgeous couple.”
Both Victoria and David Beckham failed to comment on or like their son’s anniversary post
