Scammed and Stranded: Family Faces Land Loss After Don Chris Travel Fraud

One of the many victims affected by the travel scam involving Don Chris has come forward with a heartbreaking story. The young woman, who preferred to remain anonymous, revealed the extent of her family's financial sacrifice to fund her dream of traveling abroad.

According to her, her mother secured a loan by mortgaging the family’s plot of land. The money was intended to cover travel expenses through Sky Pins Travel Agency — a company linked to Don Chris. They had been promised a bright future overseas, but their hopes were soon shattered.

After parting with a significant sum of money, communication from Don Chris and the agency ceased. Attempts to follow up on the travel arrangements have yielded no results, and the family now fears losing their only piece of land.

She shared that the situation has placed the family under immense emotional and financial strain. "My mother is devastated. She only wanted a better future for me,” the victim said tearfully.

She is not alone. Dozens of others have also come out with similar stories, claiming they were defrauded by Don Chris under the guise of overseas job placements.

With no clear path to justice or compensation, most victims feel hopeless. Some have even withdrawn from public life out of shame and depression.
