Museveni Pressured to Act as Hidden Forces Within NRM Plot 'Secret Campaign' to Tarnish His Legacy

Senior Presidential Advisor Hadijah Namyalo has raised serious concerns about individuals misusing the name of State House to carry out harmful activities without proper authorization. She emphasized that President Yoweri Museveni has never sanctioned such actions and affirmed that if there were any official instructions concerning her office, the President would have communicated with her directly.Following recent acts of violence, Namyalo met personally with President Museveni to inform him about the situation. According to her, the individuals behind these attacks are not only powerful but also have deep connections to both the political and security sectors. She alleged that these forces are deliberately working to undermine her efforts by empowering criminals under the false cover of political mobilisation.
Namyalo revealed that some of the youth who were later involved in violent activities had earlier been spotted near Pastor Kakande’s church dressed in yellow T-shirts associated with the ruling NRM party. She was informed that someone had brought them to attend the event. To her surprise, these same individuals were later seen on the streets assaulting civilians.
She strongly disagreed with State Minister Haruna Kasolo’s claims that the opposition was responsible for the violence. Namyalo insisted that the real issue lies within the National Resistance Movement (NRM) itself. She accused certain members of the party of abusing their positions to engage in destructive actions, which she believes are aimed at tarnishing the image of the party and discrediting President Museveni’s legacy of leadership and service.
She further warned that the same internal group that orchestrated last weekend’s violence is planning even more chaos as the country heads into the upcoming election campaigns. However, Namyalo assured the public that her office is aware of these plans and is prepared to confront and neutralize the threats.
She expressed deep regret for the suffering caused by the violence and urged the public not to blame the youth, stating that they were misled by selfish individuals. While acknowledging the youth as part of President Museveni’s “Bazukulu” generation, Namyalo cautioned that unless the internal sabotage within NRM is addressed, the party risks facing even greater instability as the election season approaches
