Uganda Cranes and Vipers forward, Allan Okello has sent out an emotional and heartfelt message pleading with Mike Mutebi to return to football coaching.

Mutebi has been off the scene since April 25, 2022, when he left AS Kigali, a side he joined after a victorious and historic spell at KCCA.

During an interview on The Game of Life with Andrew Mwanguhya, Okello made a heartfelt request to Mike Mutebi to return to coaching.

“I request him (Mike Mutebi) to come back to football and give us just five or three years and you will see another great talent coming out,” he stated.

“Alot of kids (young talents) are outside there and need the guidance you (Mike Mutebi) gave us. Many players are who they are because of the knowledge he has give us,” he added.

Mutebi empowered Allan in his early stages of the career and this moulded the exciting forward who has proved to be a special talent.

“Mike was really a great coach. He took me through the process that helped me to see things the different way. He always knew which games I was supposed to play or when to come on,” he noted
