After battling the deadly COVID-19 virus for over 5 years, Japan is now in the grip of another deadly virus outbreak - influenza. According to the reports, Japan's Health Ministry has confirmed that the national average has crossed the epidemic threshold, reaching 1.04 patients per medical institution, a level not seen this early in the season. Experts are now warning that the flu virus may be evolving more rapidly, posing new challenges for health authorities.
