Eze: There Is More Pressure Playing For Arsenal
Arsenal star Ebere Eze has disclosed that playing for the Gunners demands more pressure from him.
The creative midfielder has not been starting every game for Mikel Arteta’s side this season, although he has made an impact since his move across the capital, having scored once and provided three assists so far.
Speaking with The Athletic, the England international stated that he was “willing” to join Tottenham Hotspur before a late move from the Gunners changed everything.
I was ready to move to Tottenham, but from the moment Arsenal came into the picture I knew that was where I was going,” he told The Athletic.
“Playing for Arsenal is more like a show or a theatre. There’s more pressure and you’re playing for titles. It’s what I’ve always dreamed of.”
Eze’s contract with the London club runs until the summer of 2029, with an option for another year.
