Authorities have confirmed the arrest of Wadulo Musa, the driver of a bus registered as UAV 701C under YY Company, following a serious road crash in Buikwe District. The incident left several people injured and claimed multiple lives, prompting swift action from the police and judicial authorities. Musa was promptly produced before the Buikwe Chief Magistrate’s Court and has now been remanded to Buikwe Prisons pending further investigations.

The driver faces a total of 16 criminal charges related to the crash, reflecting the gravity of the incident. He is accused of three counts of causing death through reckless driving, twelve counts of causing bodily injuries, and one count of causing an accident through reckless driving.
